It was announced yesterday that US juggernaut Netflix will finally be launching in Australia and New Zealand in March 2015.
With no advertising and reliance primarily on subscriptions, their model will take on SKY, Lightbox and the others already in the NZ market.
With exclusive programming like House of Cards and a strong back-catalogue of movies and TV series, the major players will no doubt be on major subscriptions drives very soon and building their own unique content propositions before the big guy arrives in town.
