APN last night announced their group including APN, The Radio Network and GrabOne will be rebranded under one new master, NZME.
NZME. (note the critical dot) stands for NZ Media and Entertainment (N-Zed me) and will bring together a more integrated approach across their media assets.
CEO Jane Hastings said “As NZME. we will be able to leverage that advantage to more effectively connect advertisers with audiences across the country.“
We see this is a fairly smart move for the group to counter multi-platform offerings from other media groups such as MediaWorks and by incorporating ‘entertainment’ into the brand, gives them scope for the future into broader spaces.
