Scott Weatherley

Managing Director

Scott honed his expertise in the travel industry, having been a Product Manager for Escape Holidays and Marketing Manager for GO Holidays, before being headhunted to Agency land. He was Client Services Director at Energi, the second-largest indie agency in New Zealand at that time, for five years.

His portfolio included Goodman Fielder, Cadbury, Coca-Cola, Harvey World Travel, the NZ Heart Foundation, ENZA, Sealord and ATS Pacific. His experience on both sides of the Agency fence helped form Blackfoot’s approach to client relations, with a focus on ensuring highly-skilled senior staff were immersed in campaigns, with continual accountability for spend and rationale.

Scott now leads Client Service and is an advocate for full-service functionality, but is not bound by exclusivity.

Emma Weatherley

Managing Director

Emma heads the Creative offering and has developed multi-faceted campaigns for a range of clients. She has a deep understanding of retail, travel, prestige, automotive and construction categories, and has worked extensively in brand development. Her strategic skillset has built brands including Central Park Tourism, Destination Rotorua, Furniture City, Jalcon Homes, New Balance, Shiseido and Tile Warehouse.

Emma is renowned within Blackfoot for her ability to get to the crux of a client’s needs, her analytical approach to rationale, her design execution, eye for detail and exceptional writing skills.

She shares Scott’s appraisal that a whole, inclusive agency, is more powerful than each of its facets, and will often involve research, digital and media resources to ensure the approach is in harmony with the objectives.

Stacey Langlois

Media Manager

Stacey Langlois joins Blackfoot as Media Manager, her most recent role being at JWT as Media Director leading the Placemakers and Ford accounts. Stacey has 20 years of media experience having been employed in a variety of roles with Y&R, TVNZ, Sky TV, Media 360, Starcom and Zenith Optimedia. Accounts included Burger King, GSK, Wattyl, Kia, Unitec, Paper Plus, The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery, Kimberley Clark, L’Oreal, Holden and Progressive amongst others.

Meg Thomason

Media Planner/Buyer

Meg started her career at a small NZ TV station scheduling TVCs, which involved producing the analysis of clients’ campaigns. This was ideal experience as she not only enjoyed it, but was exposed to the procedures of tracking and achieving campaigns. She then moved on to a large media agency where she grew and gathered plenty more learnings of the industry. She is now very confident in her path and has joined Blackfoot, being drawn to an integrated agency where they work as a close-knit team. She is excited to be involved in and see the progress of the clients.

Jackie Gray-Parker

Public Relations Manager

Jackie brings to the agency 10 years experience as a journalist, copywriter, editor and PR consultant having worked on a multitude of brands including South Africa’s Business Report, Pepsi, Hasbro, Hollard Insurance, Pearson Education, Nestle, Simba, Tile Africa, Ambi Pur, Siemens, Castrol and the Mauritius Commercial Bank. Jackie has also edited Eurodriver magazine, the Johannesburg Property Magazine as well as various other consumer and business titles. Jackie’s experience working on a variety of brands and her ability to successfully complete launches across multiple industries allows her to provide complex strategy and solutions for our clients.

Victoria Simpson

Senior Account Manager

After completing her internship, Victoria joins the Blackfoot family as part of the Account Service team. Victoria graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management. Victoria brings to Blackfoot a friendly attitude with a dedication to her clients to see their projects through. She has experience working with beauty and skincare brands and has worked on promoting brands through social media.

Jess Acket

Account Manager

Having graduated from AUT in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Marketing and Management, Jess started her career in a role at a boutique promotional marketing agency. With a background in production for branded merchandise/promotional products, Jess is excited at the chance to join the Blackfoot Account Service team. Jess prides herself on her attention to detail and her can-do attitude, which together complements her work ethic.

Charlotte Weatherley

Account Executive

Charlotte joins the tribe as the newest member of the account service team. Charlotte is excited to be able to take a hands on approach after growing up in the agency and knowing the ins and outs of how we work. Lending support to the account service team and showcasing her exceptional writing skills and attention to detail, Charlotte is a great asset to the expanding Blackfoot family.

Kyle Wetton

Senior Web Designer

During his time spent studying Music Production and Theory, Kyle’s passion for design and keen interest in online technology led him to pursue a career in design and online development instead. Working for New Zealand’s biggest online retail store, Kyle’s experience allowed him to pick up a skill set ranging from product advertising, web design, web development, print design and photography. Kyle’s interest in technology keeps his attention at the forefront of modern innovations, both online and elsewhere.

Alaina Weatherley


Educated in Fine Arts, Alaina brings her unique style to the Blackfoot tribe. With a love of illustration and animation and a passion for storytelling, Alaina is continually expanding her skill set and technical skills. Interested in coding and technology, Alaina works with Web design extending her creative knowledge into the digital as well as the traditional. Working with film and graphic design through to photo manipulation and product design, Alaina is committed to her work and its outcome.

George Vaafusuaga

TV Production Manager

After completing his internship, George joined the team in the television department. Studying video production at Yoobee School of Design, George developed an interest in film and animation learning a wide range of technical skills. His passion lies in animation, bringing his unique style of fluid movement and eye catching design.

Angela Pitman

Financial Controller

Angela started her advertising career at the legendary Campaign Palace in the early nineties, moving to the newly created Bates Palace following the merger. Ever ambitious, a stint at Young and Rubicam saw her rise to the role of Company Accountant. She then joined Carat NZ and in the space of nine years rose to the rank of Financial Controller, running her own team and presiding over nine separate entities under the umbrella of Dentsu Aegis. Angela comes to Blackfoot with strong financial, structural and strategic skills and is thrilled to be back in a full-service advertising agency.
